After breakfast, we visit Luxembourg City, the capital of Luxembourg and the first city the European Union ever named European Capital of Culture.

An afternoon cruise down the Mosel will take us into Germany to Trier where we moor for the night. Dinner on board.

Trier is the oldest town in Germany which will take you back to the old Roman times from many years before Christ. This morning, there will be time to explore the town and visit the Porta Nigra, part of the old town wall and the magnificent St. Peters Cathedral.

In the afternoon we will cruise this incredible picturesque part of the Mosel River to reach Bernkastel, another famous wine village. Here we visit the cellars of Dr. Pauli Bergweiler for a late afternoon tasting. Dinner on board.

Continuing down the Mosel this morning we come to Zell, one of the most beautiful towns on the river and famous for its wines. Visit the cellars of Dr. Josef Weiss, just outside of town.

From Zell we take a leisurely cruise past numerous vineyards to the charming town of Cochem.

Enjoy breakfast before taking a morning cruise through the lowest part of the Moselle River and continuing to Koblenz, where you will have time to stroll the beautiful streets known for their wonderful shopping. Captain’s farewell dinner on board this evening.
