Lorraine is a 22-passenger French hotel barge for private charter, or for individual cabins on shared cruise weeks. Lorraine cruises in Burgundy (through July 2010) and Alsace-Lorraine (beginning July 31, 2010 and throughout the 2011 barging season).

A journey through the picturesque region of Alsace aboard Lorraine is a voyage of endless discoveries... of art and architecture, gourmet food and wine, history and heritage.

The hotel barge Lorraine accommodates 22 passengers in comfort. Enjoy her flower-strewn sundeck with chairs and parasols, a cozy saloon leading to the bar and a separated dining-room. On the lower deck there are 11 comfortable twin-bedded cabins with large opening windows and private, ensuite bathrooms

Cruise to the heart of Alsace-Lorraine, where French and German culture entwine to create one of France’s most bewitching regions.   Colmar and Strasbourg are two of Europe's most fascinating small cities. Enjoy wine tasting, visit a brewery, see one of Chagall's best works, and have a look up close at crystal-making from beginning to end. You will spend time in delightful villages and cruise the most interesting canal in France with its long tunnel and famous inclined plane.  During this week you will sample 24 different wines, 18 different cheeses, and eat some truly wonderful food.
