Sunday, Day 1 - Auxerre
You are met in Auxerre on Sunday afternoon and are transferred to L’Art de Vivre moored on the River Yonne in Auxerre underneath the Cathedrals in the old part of town.  Champagne Welcome and introduction to your Captain and crew and a chance for a walk or bike ride into Auxerre.  Return to the barge for your first gourmet dinner on board.

Monday, Day 2
After breakfast enjoy a leisurely cruise to Gurgy along the River Yonne. Lunch on board followed, in the afternoon, a visit to labyrinth of passages underneath the medieval town of St. Bris.  Later you can sample the outstanding local Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in Madame Bersan's cellar.  Dinner on board.

Tuesday, Day 3
After breakfast we return to Auxerre as this gives you an opportunity to visit Auxerre on Market Day.  Return to the barge for lunch followed by an afternoon excursion is to St Etienne Cathedral.  Return to the barge and cruise to Joigny.  Dinner on board.

Wednesday, Day 4
After breakfast we walk and short distance and visit the old town of Joigny.  Lunch on board whilst cruising to St Florentin on the Burgundy Canal.  Dinner on board.

Thursday, Day 5
A leisurely cruise to Flogny la Chapelle and a visit to the internationally acclaimed Domaine Laroche at Chablis.  The first barrels of Chablis were matured here in the 9th century and our tasting includes a guided tour of the Obediencerie and a thorough explanation of the Laroche methods. Dinner ashore tonight.

Friday, Day 6
After breakfast we enjoy a morning cruise to Tonnerre.  After breakfast we visit the 16th century Renaissance-style Chateau de Tanlay with impressive engraved stone carvings followed by winetasting in Epineuil.  Farewell Captains Dinner on board.

Saturday, Day 7
After a last leisurely breakfast we depart the barge and transfer back to Tonnerre TGV station or if the charter prefer, back to Auxerre.
